Arrival Medan – Kualanamu International Airport, we will transfer you to hotel and then city tour by visiting Great Mosque, Sultan Palace, Chinese Temple and market. In the afternoon, return to the hotel.
After breakfast, drive to Tangkahan via Binjai and Tanjung Pura, on the way visit several villages where you can see the daily activities of local people, arrival at Tangkahan (a part of Leuser National Park) check in to a simple Guest House. In the afternoon you could stroll the area.
After breakfast, continue our amazing tour in the North of Sumatra , walking to the elephant station and then join the Mahout ( the elephant tamer ) during washing the Elephant. Afterwards enjoy tubing through the river and stop will be made at Fantastic Buluh Waterfall where you can have some natural shower, sunbathing or swim in the plunge pool. Picnic lunch will be served on the shore of the river. In the afternoon, arrive at the village. Get in touch with the local people, see their daily activities and then return to guest house by walking. Free time! You can take a rest or visit some hot springs and waterfalls near the guest house on your own.
After breakfast, drive to Bukit Lawang by Jeep. On the way, stop at several plantations for rubber and cocoa. Arrival at Bukit Lawang, check in to hotel and then the afternoon is free at your own leisure.
After breakfast, continue our adventure tour through Sumatra, walking into the jungle to start trekking to explore the nature of Leuser National Park with their abundant flora and fauna, there will be a possibility to see the Orangutans on their own habitat and other kind of animal such as Thomas leaf monkeys, long tail macaque, gibbon, black gibbon and other kind of flora and fauna of this tropical rain forest. This trekking will take about 3 hours, and afterwards return to hotel. In the afternoon you could make a stroll through the village.
Today leave for Brastagi , enroute visit Sembahe River and Sibolangit ( passing through the dense forest ) .Upon arrival Brastagi you will visit Lhumbini Natural Park with its duplicate of Shwedagon pagoda in Myanmar, visit local fruit market, and Gundaling Hill where you able to see two volcanoes peaks ( Mount Sinabung and Mount Sibayak )
Today drive to Parapat – is a small town on the edge of Lake Toba , enroute visit Batak Karo traditional village at Dokan, stop at Sipiso-piso waterfall, Rumah Bolon (Long house) is a northern Sumatra traditional house. Upon arrival at Parapat, cross to Samosir Island by ferry boat to get to the hotel. Afternoon free.
After breakfast excursion on Samosir Island by car, visiting several Batak Toba traditional villages such as :
Along on this trip, it is also possible to stop at school to see the activities of young children in the school, visiting the village where the people make traditional hand weaving. Also stop at some scenic places! In the afternoon, back to hotel.
Today you could make a stroll through the village.
After breakfast crossing back to Parapat and continue drive to Sipirok – enroute visit pineapples, clove, and coffee plantation, traditional market at Balige Sigur-gur and Sipoholon Hot Springs. Before arriving at Sipirok , we can enjoy nature walking on the banks of the Sarulla river , surrounded by rice terrace and seeing the village working and cultivating. Arriving Sipirok , check –in to hotel
Today we leave Sipirok and continue the trip towards Bukittinggi. It’s the core of Minangkabau culture, located on top of a hill. During the trip we will pass through the rainforests of Rimba Panti, and we will make a stop to see how the monkeys have fun picking up coconuts. We will visit the peppers, vanilla, cinnamon and cardamom plantations. You will cross the equator line in Bonjol from the Northern Hemisphere to the Southern Hemisphere. Afternoon arrive at Bukittinggi and directly check in at the hotel.
After breakfast, drive to Payakumbuh and visit Harau Valley with its echo, rice field terrace and traditional village. We go back to Bukittinggi, visiting Sianok Canyon, Fort De Kock, museum and traditional market. In the afternoon, return to hotel in Bukittinggi. The evening is for you to watch traditional Minangkabau dance and music performances.
Today we will go to Minangkabau. Before arriving at our destination, we will pass Batu Sangkar ( famous as the city of culture ) and Tabek Patah ( beautiful view of the west sumatra from above ). Along the way, we will also stop in Rao-Rao to visit a traditional village in Minangkabau where we will see how coffee is traditionally ground.
Arriving at Batu Sangkar, we continue to Pagaruyung to visit the duplicate of the Minangkabau Kingdom Palace and Museum. In the afternoon we return to Bukittinggi by Padang Panjang and visit Pandai Sikat village to see traditional Minangkabau hand weaving and wood carving. We return to the hotel in the afternoon.
After breakfast, visit several villages to see how the local people on their daily activities, such as farming on the rice field with the help of water buffalo, and you might even see the harvest time.
On this day, we will provide traditional fried tapioca or fried banana as your snack cooked at the house of local people.
After breakfast, drive to Maninjau Lake via 44 hairpin curves, fantastic road of “Kelok 44”. On the way, visit Koto Gadang village to see traditional Silverwork and Embun Pagi to see the view of the Lake. Arrive at Maninjau, enjoy the nature of Lake Maninjau and the panoramic views. Return to Bukittinggi in the afternoon.
After breakfast, drive to Padang via Padang Panjang, on the way stop at Anai waterfall. Upon arrival Padang, transfer to Painan to catch the ferry boat crossing to Cubadak Island where you are going to spend the nights forward.

After breakfast, cross back to Painan by boat and then drive to Padang – Minangkabau International Airport. End of journey
