Today transfer to Airport for your flight to Pangkalan Bun. Upon arrival Pangkalan Bun on the island of Borneo, your guide will be waiting for your transfer to the port of Kumai in about 15 -20 minutes by car , where you will embark on Wooden boat – called Klotok Boat. First stop is Tanjung Harapan village and visit local school. Lunch will be served on Klotok. We slowly cruising down the river to Tanjung Harapan camp to witness orangutan feeding time at 3pm. Dinner and Overnight on Klotok Boat
After Breakfast then slowly we cruising down the river to Pondok Tanggui to see feeding time at 9am. Tanggui was a loose camp for Young Orangutans who were rehabilitated, and continue to add food every day, to prevent the Orangutans from walking away due to lack of food, and ending up outside the National Park, with the following risk of falling into traps of settlers or Palm Oil Plantation fields. Return to Klotok to continue our journey. Fresh and healthy lunch will be served on Klotok. After lunch we proceed to Pesalat camp. Enjoy the afternoon coffee break while observing the wildlife.
An early wakeup calls by the sound of birds and proboscis monkey. Enjoy your breakfast while we cruising down the river to the famous Camp Leakey. En route stop in Pondok Ambung. Pondok Ambung is a tropical forest research station where you will encounter with some species of butterflies.
Arrival at Camp Leakey, the Old Orangutan Research and Rehabilitation Center since 1971, when a student at UCLA University in Los Angeles named Birutte Galdikas began studying Orangutans there, the name Camp Leaky comes from Birutte’s own professor, Paleoanthropologist Louis Leakey. At least 200 orangutans have already been cured and returned to the forests thanks to this center, however since 1995, the Government of Indonesia has prohibited the introduction of more Orangutans in this camp, so the Orangutans are adapting more and more to freedom. Today, this camp is used for behavioral and feeding research of Orangutans. At 14:00 you can see the feeding time of the Orangutans. At Camp Leakey you will have opportunity to trek into the rain forest with your expert guide to appreciate the flora as well as perhaps sighting wild orangutans, gibbons, macaques, and birds. Lunch provided on boat. We will then sail back down the river to overnight onboard. After dinner, we will be trekking into the forest for 2 hours to see the nocturnal animals like Tarsiers and tarantulas.
After breakfast cruising we down to Kumai. On arrival in Kumai drive to airport for your flight to Semarang – Central Java. Arrival Semarang meet our guide then transfer to your hotel in Magelang.
Pick up early in the morning for Borobudur Sunrise Tour. We will arrive at Borobudur temple before the sunrise. Prepare yourself for an amazing scenery with many faces of Buddha enlightened with the lights. Feel the calm breeze in this peaceful morning. Wait and see a dramatic and exotic sunrise. Afterward continue our journey by exploring Candirejo. Candirejo is a traditional village where ancient traditions are still followed. The village is best known for how it has maintained their original traditions. The word “Candi” means stones or rocks, while “Rejo” means fertile, therefore Candirejo means a fertile rocky village. You will participate in daily social activities to feel their real traditional village atmosphere, culture and lifestyle.
After breakfast you will start your cultural Yogyakarta tour by visit Sultan Royal Palace, Water Castle (Taman Sari), Batik Home Industry and Silversmith at Kotagede. The journey continues to visit Prambanan temple. The temple of Hinduists and classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1991. This temple was completed around the year 856 to commemorate the return of Shailendra dynasty of Central Java. Afterwards back to your hotel.
Today you will transfer to Tugu train station and take a morning train to Jombang at 06.55 am, it will take around 3,5 hours. Arrive Jombang Station at 10.30 am and continue driving to Bromo. Upon arrival direct check in to hotel.
Early morning departure to Penanjakan the highest point above 2700 meters (temperatures can drop to 5°C) to wait for the sunrise of the new day. As soon as its light a spectacular panorama of Mt. Bromo, Mt. Batok and in the back active Mt. Semeru will unfold. After enjoying this view we descend and cross the “Sea of Sand” to the foot of Mt.Bromo. Here you can hire a horse or walk to the 250 steps that will take you to the rim of the crater. After having breakfast and taking a bath in hotel then drive to Surabaya for overnight
Transfer to airport for your flight to Labuan Bajo. Arrival in Labuan Bajo our representative will meet and transfer you directly to hotel
Breakfast at the hotel , transfer to harbor to board to Kelor island, in this island you can do snorkeling , continue sail to Rinca Island. Led by a local ranger 2-hour soft trekking through forest and savanna. Komodo Dragons are often spotted on the way. From the highest point on this hike a beautiful panorama of the surrounding island. From Rinca Island we continue cruise to Kalong Island (bats island), a small island covered by the mangrove trees. Late afternoon enjoys spectacular view when thousands of bats flying out from the island in searching for food. Healthy and fresh dinner will be prepared by our team.
After breakfast we sail to Padar Island. A walk to reach the highest point of Padar and enjoy magnificent view surrounding. Back on Boat and continue sail to Pink Beach. Here time to discover the splendid underwater world of these rich waters (snorkels and fins are provided). After spending some time here for snorkeling the journey continue to Loh Liang Station on Komodo Island, where we will do an hour trekking to Banugulung, former feeding ground to see Komodo in wild. After breakfast, sail to Manta point and Sebayur for snorkeling. Lunch will be served on board. Arrival in Labuan Bajo direct transfer to Hotel for overnight
We leave the hotel to visit Batu Cermin Cave and the local market . Also panorama point if time allows. Then transfer to Airport. Upon arrival you will be welcomed by our local representative and direct transfer to Ubud.
Ubud is situated in a fertile region in the mountains between rivers and is particularly known from the past as a centre of the art world. The painter Walter Spies came to live here in the first half of the last century, Ubud became very popular since then. There are many museums in Ubud, however museum Puri Lukisan is worth to visit. The museum is oldest art museum in Ubud, Bali. They have modern and traditional Balinese paintings and wood carvings. Puri Saren Ubud (Ubud Palace) is another interesting place to visit. It’s an Ubud Kingdom Palace with beautiful Balinese traditional houses as a residence of Ubud King.
