The Uluwatu Temple is one of the most beautiful and regarded as one of the six most important temples on the island of Bali. It’s located on the high cliffs on the west coast of Peninsula of Nusa Dua. Here the Kecak dance is performed by men, all bare-chested and wearing a black and white checked cloth around their waist. Sitting in a circle and percussively chanting ” chack a- chack – chack and throwing up their arms. The Kecak dance tells a tale from Ramayana epic.
